This Sunday, I'll be starting a 5 Part Sermon Series titled, "The Future of the Church." This pentalogy will be divided into the following sermons:
  • The Future of the Church
  • Children & Youth
  • The Power of Second Half Living
  • Contemplative Living
  • Creativity: Music & Arts

HOLY COMMUNION

We'll be celebrating Holy Communion this Sunday. I hope those who are worshiping online will also participate. All you need to have with you in order to participate is to have bread or a cookie and juice or water.

NO "BIG" COFFEE HOUR THIS WEEK

Hold off from bringing your goodies to church this Sunday. Wait and bring them NEXT Sunday as we will be having a church lunch after the worship service to kick off the new church season on September 8th. 

10 O'CLOCK HOUR IS COMING BACK

We will finally start back our 10 O'clock Study Hour on Sunday, September 15th. This is the first time we have offered this study-fellowship opportunity since the pandemic. It would be helpful to know how many people are interested in participating in our 10 O'clock Hour program. There will be a sign-up sheet that will be at a table in the social hall.

CHURCH KICKOFF, SEPTEMBER 8TH

We will officially kick off the new church season on Sunday, September 8th. Following the worship service on the 8th, we'll have a Potluck Covered Dish Lunch.
I'll share more about this event next Friday but wanted everyone to go ahead and put it in their calendar. 

"SING" COMMUNITY CHOIR, SEPTEMBER 9TH

I am so excited that we are going to be offering a choir for children in the 3rd through 8th grades. If you haven't heard about it, it's called SING (Savannah Inspiring the Next Generation). There will be an information meeting about this children's community choir on Monday September 9th. We'll be sending out an email about it this week.
