Church Family,

undefinedundefined
Please forgive me for a very short email to you this week. Our family is in the midst of preparing for mom's "Celebration of Life" Service tomorrow. It is like Grand Central Station at our house. All of mom's grandchildren flew in today from New York City and Los Angeles...including the Great-grandchild. My sister, Wendy, and her husband, Pat, drove down from New Jersey. I'm still in the process of working on my eulogy, of course. We're also putting the finishing touches on a Video-Picture Celebration of mom's life. A thousand "Thank yous" to Barri Marshall for all of the time she has spent in helping us put this together.
We are going to try to Live Stream the service. But if something goes wrong and we can't live stream it, the service will be recorded and put on YouTube at a later date.
If you're able to join us, please do. And please sing extra loud for her when we sing the hymns! A Visitation will start at 1:00 with the Service starting at 2:00. A reception in Holliday Hall will follow.

Wednesday Night Suppers - Only 2 Left!

How wonderful it was to see folks in Holliday Hall breaking bread and laughing together at our Wednesday Night Supper! This time of communion and community is so healing and bonding. We need it! Plus, the food is great, too!
We only have two more suppers before we take a long break for the summer.
So do yourself a favor and hurry and make a reservation. I want to see you there. I need you there to tell me not to get more than one dessert!ย

Mark Erelli Concert

I am so excited that my friend, Mark Erelli, will be coming to Asbury next Saturday, May 20th to offer us a concert. Please share this news with friends and neighbors! Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at: https://www.asburymemorial.org/
Here is a link to some of Mark's music that you could send to folks to help us get the word out about the concert. Thanks!

New Members Class this Monthย

If you are looking for a church home, we would love for you to be part of the Asbury Memorial-Wesley Oak Family. We offer New Member Classes three times a year. The next classes will be after the worship services on May 21st and 28th. A delicious lunch is supplied by our wonderful Kitchen Hospitality Team. If you would like to attend, please contact our Connectional Ministries Coordinator, Candace Jenkins, by calling of emailing the church office.
Love & Blessings to all
Billyย
