This Sunday we remembered the people in our lives who now live in eternity, especially the church members and constituents who made their transition this year:

Church Members: Jack Davenport, Maurice Gwinner, Elizabeth Lariscy, Beulah Harper Nettles, Tim Rockwell, Dorothy "Dot" Wallace
Constituents: Lillian Lindsay, Roger Pelletier, Kelly Redmond

As you can see, we lost many great family members and friends. Congregants were invited to bring flowers to the service on Sunday to present at the altar when the names of these individuals were called. They also had the opportunity to bring a flower to the altar for other relatives and friends who have passed. Although this can be an emotional Sunday, there's something very cathartic and healing about experiencing this together as a faith community in God's sanctuary.
