SERMON: "Would You Go Fishing with This Man?"
Rev. Billy Hester bases his sermon on texts from Ecclesiastes (about casting your bread upon the water) and the Gospel of Luke (where Peter casts his nets as Jesus instructed and hauls in a tremendous catch, after which Jesus tells Peter that henceforth he would be "catching men"). Rev. Hester invites us to be better at lowering our "nets" to aid in catching "fish." He also mentions that one out of four non-church members would at least visit a church service if only they were asked by someone they knew.
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 and Luke 5:4-10  [NIV Translation; others available at the link]
