Rev. Billy Hester uses Scripture from Exodus, Mark, and Acts to show how the Sabbath was made for people, not that people were made for the Sabbath.
Scripture:Â Exodus 20:8-11; Mark 2:23-27, Acts 16:9-15 [NIV Translation; others available at the link]
Written by: Danny Beam
Before Danny Beam sings a song he composed, he reflects upon his stay at Asbury Memorial UMC as he prepares to move on to become Minister of Music at Hinesville UMC. This was his last day at Asbury.
The benediction was given by Danny Beam on this his last day at Asbury as he moves to become Minister of Music at Hinesville UMC, followed by Asbury's customary singing and signing of the classic hymn, "Here I am, Lord."
We hope you feel blessed by this service!
