The theme of Rev. Hester's sermon is the idea that we are spiritual creatures having a human experience and that attending church is like putting away goods from our summer garden to use during the inevitable "winters" of our life: instead of canning fruits and vegetables, we fill jars of gratitude, serving and caring, friends, faith, and prayer. By attending church, we can experience God's love and grace now and do not need to wait until we leave our earthly bodies.
Scripture:Â 1 Timothy 6:6-12, 17-21 [NIV Translation; others available at the link]
We hope you feel blessed by this service!
