Ibrahim ‘Abdul-Malik is the Imam (religious leader) of Masjid Jihad, Inc., in Savannah, GA. He has been a working member of the mosque for over 35 years and assumed his current position in March, 2016, with the passing of Imam Maajid Faheem ‘Ali (R). He is a native Virginian who moved to Hilton Head Island, SC, in 1977. A product of "Community Training," Ibrahim has led the Jum'ah (congregational service), Islamic Studies, Qur'anic Arabic Classes, Youth Leadership Training and Development, Interfaith Dialogs, and other ceremonial requirements. He performed the pilgrimage (hajj) to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, in 2007. Ibrahim and his wife, Mumtahanah, have three children and seven grandchildren.
