    September 11 is our big kick-off Sunday — Wesley Oak at 9:30; Asbury at 11:15—followed by a Stewardship Fair at the Asbury campus, where you can find out about services open to you (Leopold's Ice Cream with be serving)
    Ruthie Deffley announced the beginning of SMART (Self-Management & Recovery Training) Recovery sessions, every Monday evening at 7 at the Wesley Oak campus;, there will be signage directing you to the location in the Church.     Jennifer Bishop from Savannah Repertory Theatre announced a production of The Christians, in association with Asbury Memorial Theatre Company, in the Asbury Memorial sanctuary. For more information about dates and times, see the Newsletter.
    Special Birthday (80 or above): Lee Davison
    Rev. Susan and Alan Karlson are moving to Virginia. Susan participated in Asbury services regularly until the was called to be Senior Pastor at the Universal Unitarian Church
  • SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT G.O.B:
    It has again been postponed for a year—until October 2023. This is necessary due to an outbreak of COVID in the choir members and others needed for the production.
    HOWEVER, there will still be a God on Broadway this year, just using non-musicals each Sunday. The first Sunday will be Amadeus. David Alley provides a brief introduction to the play.
